Angband 3.0 released
The new Angband version is available as source code
and compiled DOS,
Windows, and
RISC OS (compiled by
Andrew Sidwell) versions.
More pre-compiled versions for other systems will hopefully
follow in the next few days.
Make sure to read the changelog
since there have been many big changes in this release,
including many new items, monsters, artifacts, and ego-items;
a completely new list of spells; and the introduction of the
Lua scripting language
that will make it easier to expand and modify the game.
Gumband bugfix
The 2.2.0d bugfix release for Joseph William Dixon'sGumband is now available as
source code and DOS version. Take a look at the
changelog
for a list of improvements and corrections.
Multiband bugfix
And another bugfix release: Multiband 1.0.1 by
"Wrabhit" fixes the
priest/paladin spell list as well as some other things. It is available
as source code and as Windows version compiled by
Mario Feldberg.
ToME 1.0.0 - Troubles of Middle Earth
The variant formerly known as PernAngband has changed it's name
to ToME.
Dark God celebrates the new name
with a new release. Source code, DOS, and Mac versions
(by "pelpel")
are available for download. Take a look at the
list of changes
to find out what changed beside the name.
Another Angband 3.0 beta
A second beta version of Angband 3.0 is already available for testing
as source code,
DOS, and
Windows version.
Compiled versions of the first beta with some of the bugfixes from the beta2 for
PPC,
68k, and
OS X Macs
have been provided by "pelpel".

ZAngband 2.7.1
A new development version of ZAngband is now
available for download as source code, DOS, Windows, and Mac version.
NewAngband 1.2.0 "Variaz" released
a new version of his variant NewAngband.
Source code and DOS version are available for downloads. Take a look at the

to find out what is new.
EyAngband 0.4.3 EyAngband 0.4.3 has been released by
Eytan Zweig. He provided the source
code and Windows binaries. Bablos
and "Gileba" compiled
versions for Amigas and for PPC Macs.
Angband 3.0 beta
I've prepared a beta version of Angband 3.0 for testing. It is available
as source code,
DOS, and
Windows version.
Please test it carefully and report any bugs and errors.
