• PernMAngband 3.1.1
  Dark God released a new version of the multi-player variant PernMAngband.
• KAmband 2.0
  "Baalzebub" is the codename of Ivan Tkatchev's new KAmband version that mainly tweaks playability. Beside the source code there is also a Windows version compiled by Franklin Bratcher, a DOS version by "Joseph William Dixon", and an OS/2 port by Skylar Thompson.
• Amiga ports
  Bablos compiled a new Amiga version of Angband 2.9.2 with all the bugfixes up to the 24th March 2001. He also ported KAngband 2.9.2 and EasyAngband 2.1 to the Amiga.
• DOS PsiAngband
  "Joseph William Dixon" compiled PsiAngband 1.2.0 for DOS.
• OS/2 ports
  Skylar Thompson compiled SBFband 0.2.2, and Gumband 2.1.3 for OS/2.
• KAngband 2.9.2 for Macs
  The 68k and PPC Mac versions of KAngband 2.9.2 have been compiled by "Gileba"

• Mac Gumband
  "Gileba" prepared a Gumband 2.1.3 archive for PPC Macs.
• OS/2 ports
  Skylar Thompson compiled EyAngband 0.2.2, PernAngband 4.1.5, CatHAngband 2.9.1.3, ZAngband 2.5.3, and Angband 2.9.2 for OS/2.
• Savefile backup tool
  Bartek Dedersen created a Windows program that automatically makes backups of savefiles at regular intervals. It works with Angband and all it's variants.
• KAngband 2.9.2
  The KAngband maintainer, John I'anson-Holton, released the source code, DOS, and Windows archives of version 2.9.2. Read the changelog to find out what new features and bugfixes have been added.
• KAmband for DOS
  Laurence Withers updated his DOS port of KAmband to the current version 1.9.
• IsoBand for Windows
  Hansjörg Malthaner released a Windows version of the isometric view for PernAngband.
• (J)Angband/64 beta 7 release 1
  Jurriaan Kalkman prepared a new beta of his variant (J)Angband/64. Take a look at the list of changes to find out what is new.
• EyAngband 0.3.0 beta
  Eytan Zweig prepared an beta version of EyAngband for testing.

• Amiga ports
  Bablos ported EyAngband 0.2.3, ZAngband 2.5.4, Gumband 2.1.3, and PsiAngband 1.2.0 to the Amiga.
• Easyband 2.1
  Bryan Majerle released Easyband 1.2 as source code and Windows version. The new version adds some new ego items, more powerful classes and other things to make the game easier.
• Gumband 2.1.3
  Joseph William Dixon prepared a new version of his ZAngband variant Gumband.
• Newband update
  "Variaz" released version 1.0.1b of NewAngband.
