• GWAngband 2.8.3v3 for DOS and Windows
  I've compiled Greg Wooledge's GWAngband 2.8.3v3 for DOS and Windows. Both versions come with the usual bell and whistles like 8x8 tiles, Adam Bolt's 16x16 tiles, sound, extra information windows ...

• Amiga ports
  Bablos compiled the new alpha version of GWAngband for the Amiga.
• Mac ports
  Prfnoff did ports of GWAngband and CthAngband for the Macs.
• Acorn ports
  And Thomas Harris ported the rather old QAngband and the new alpha of GWAngband to the Acorn RISC OS.
• Angband Editor
  "Log" created an editor for the Angband info files. It's a Windows 95/98/NT program and comes with full source code (Visual Basic). Please direct all questions about the program to rec.games.roguelike.angband or directly to "Log".

• GWAngband 2.8.3v3
  Greg Wooledge released another alpha version of his variant GWAngband. I'll try to compile DOS and Windows versions in the next few days.
• SBFband for Amiga
  Bablos compiled the Amiga version of SBFband.
• Tk versions
  Tim Baker released AngbandTk 2.8.3r16, KAngbandTk 2.8.3r5, OAngbandTk 0.4.0r2, and ZAngbandTk 2.2.5r1. You can find all new versions and more information on the TkAngband home page.

• ZAngband 2.2.5b for Amiga
  Bablos ported the new ZAngband 2.2.5b to the Amiga.
• SBFband for Mac
  The Mac (68020+) and Mac (PPC) versions of SBFband have been compiled by Prfnoff.
• GSNband 1.3
  Gwidon S. Naskrent released a new version of his variant GSNband. Take a look at the list of changes to see what is new.

• ZAngband 2.2.5b
  The bugfixed version of ZAngband 2.2.5 is now available. Take a look at the list of changes to see what bugs got fixed.

• ZAngband 2.2.5 bugs
  It seems like several bugs creeped into the new ZAngband 2.2.5 release. So please wait for the fixed 2.2.5b version before downloading it. I'll try to upload it tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvinience.

• ZAngband 2.2.5
  A new version of ZAngband is now available as: source code, DOS version, and Windows version. Take a look at the list of changes to see whats new.
• New variant
  Steve Fisher wrote a new variant called SBFband. For details and downloads look at my new SBFband Page.
• CthAngband 3.1.1
  And if that is not enough ... Dean Anderson released CthAngband 3.1.1 with many new features and bugfixes!
• About maximize mode
  Remco Gerlich wrote a small article describing the Maximize Mode.

• angband.org downtime
  The angband.org server will be unavailable sometime between June 7th through June 21st, probably even longer. Since Thangorodrim is located on this server, it will be down as well.
