• EyAngband 0.1.3
  And again a new release of Eytan Zweig's EyAngband is available. This release mainly fixes bugs and rebalances stuff. It also offers a more advanced "monster knowledge" screen, and adds semi-random quests. For the full list of new features take a look at the changelog.

• New DrAngband maintainer
  Tom Morton stepped down from his position as DrAngband maintainer and made room for Dr. Andrew White. The new maintainer already released a new version with some interesting changes. You can download DrAngband 2.9.6 from the new DrAngband homepage.

• ZAngband DevTeam news
  There have been various changes in the ZAngband DevTeam in the last few days. First the bad news: Remco and Gwidon left the team. Both have lost interest in *bands (at least for the moment). :-(

  Now the good news: The ZAngband CVS repository moved to SourceForge.net. Sourceforge.net offers nice services like anonymous CVS access, FTP and web space, bugtracking, public discussion forums, mailing lists, and many more.

  The DevTeam is currently settling in and we have created mailing-lists for announcements, discussions, and for the CVS commitlogs. We plan to move from the current onelist/egroups mailinglists to the SourceForge lists within the next few weeks. Subscribe now before the best places are filled. :-)

• Acorn versions
  Musus Umbra compiled Angband 2.9.1 and ZAngband 2.4.0 for the Acorn RISC OS machines.

• EyAngband Update, again
  Eytan Zweig released yet another update of EyAngband The new version adds rod stacking, the autosquelch patch, completely rewritten alchemy code, modifications to the magic books, as well as many other changes and bugfixes. Take a look at the changelog for details.
• ZAngbandTk 2.4.0
  The Tk version of ZAngband 2.4.0 is out of the beta test. Remember to follow Tim Baker's instructions when installing it.
• New OAngband maintainer
  OAngband has a new maintainer, Bahman Rabii.
• Compiling for DOS
  Laurence Withers offers variant maintainers to compile variants on DOS/DJGPP. So if you want a DOS port of your variant then drop him a line.

• EyAngband Update
  EyAngband, Eytan Zweig's variant, has now reached version number 0.1.1. The new release includes features such as Dr. Andrew White's monster light patch, Prnoff's custom quests from a2.9.1, Iain McFall's monster list patch, as well as lots of other changes. Take a look at the changelog for details.
• Prfnoff-Angband beta
  Prfnoff released a source-only beta version of his variant. The download as well as the list of changes are available.
